The Beavers Lane redevelopment is a mixture of 190 new houses and flats which was implemented following the clearance of four post war flat blocks. The architecture that was selected for the scheme was a modern traditional style, in terms of both materials and massing, in order to help the integrate the project into the wider community and to also enable the building to be designed so that they do not provide any kind of distinction between the various tenures.
