Stanford Eatwell Architecture Limited

Stanford Eatwell was founded as an Architectural Practice in 1970 and has been responsible for a variety of building types including offices, industrial and storage buildings, schools, colleges, health buildings, retail, hotels and leisure facilities. The Practice is however best known for its work in the residential sector working with major Housebuilders, Housing Associations and Local Authorities, and has pioneered new types of Urban Regeneration involving complex designs and mixed uses.

The design abilities of the Practice have been recognised by awards for Good Design in Housing, conferred jointly by the RIBA and the Department of the Environment. Awards have also been received from the Civic Trust and in connection with special award programmes organised by the RIBA for Urban Renewal. The Practice formed partnerships with the private and public sectors and won major competitions for Urban Regeneration schemes in London and the South East.

Roger Hind, Martin Bradley and Sarah Kitchener formed Stanford Eatwell Technical Limited as an Architectural Technologists Practice in November 2014. Working in tandem with Stanford Eatwell Architecture we have been responsible for delivering a variety of building types including housing, offices, retail units, hotels and leisure facilities. In 2022 the two companies merged to become Stanford Eatwell Architecture Limited.

We are an experienced team of Architects and Architectural Technologists that are primarily focused on preparing planning and detailed designs for housing and mixed use schemes for Developers for the private sale and Housing Association markets. We predominantly work on schemes in and around the London area, more recently in Isleworth, Orpington, Tadworth, Cricklewood, Watford and Romford.
